Being a life-long non-morning person, how does one manage to get up 2.5 hours before sunrise without feeling pissed off about the world? That early. Honestly.
Why is it so hard to get up before sunrise for my morning Sadhana? That's the question I keep asking myself. I know the answers so I'm making small adjustments so I can get up before sunrise. Well, I succeeded only once this past 13 days. The rest of my practice was completed early to late mornings. Due to several reasons, I also skipped sadhana a day here and there for a total of 3 days.
Do I guilt myself about how imperfect my practice is? I don't. I'd rather not. I learned from @goalsetting101 that "making imperfect actions" towards my goals is much better than not making any at all. And its helping me a lot, in various aspects of my life, specifically in managing my anxiety issue.
Allowing myself to explore each morning sadhana only with neutral attitude facilitates my surrender to the gift of each moment. One of such precious moment captured here was when my cat baby Max joined in the entire hour and kept me company. 🥰
What are your struggles in your daily sadhana practice or self-care practice? How do you manage it? I'm curious to learn your approach.
