The other day we saw the sweetest pair of black kittens at the RSPCA and found out that they had been there much longer than any other kitten had and, that if they couldn't find them a home they'd have to be put down. The only reason was because people are still afraid to adopt black cats. It took us back to the time when we were adopting Luna and Fleur, our bonded pair . A family, with much better credentials and a much bigger home, wanted to adopt as well, except they only wanted Fleur because they didn't like Luna. It scares me to think of what would have happened to Luna if they decided to adopt out to that family instead of us. Luna would be without her sister, god knows where, all because she's a black cat. Luna is the sweetest, dumbest, most loveable creature I've ever met and she has made me the happiest lil cat lover ever. Adopt a black cat. Yeah okay they don't photograph very well but, if someone pisses you off, you can pretend to use your black cat to curse them.
