Since you guys seemed to have loved the big cat in our last post, let us tell you about a different kind of big cat.
The British shorthair can be found in many parts of the world but mainly live in a warm, cosy house. Their distinguishing features are their flat face (like they’ve run into a wall, because they probably have at some point, they’re a bit clumsy you know) and plush coat (which can be found on every single piece of furniture, clothing, literally anything you name it. There will be fur!).
Melody who happens to be our British shorthair, has specific tendencies. Like meeping - not quite a meow, not quite no noise. She likes to also steal your seat on the couch, lie on your lap (only between 5-6pm and you may only give pats for an unspecified amount of time). She breathes heavily and chews loudly. Melody’s case of the ‘zoomies’ involve running at high speed, hiding in pillow forts and once stopped, she will only move when you make a ‘peow’ sound (the sound that cartoon characters make when they move quickly) 💨 She also likes to lie on her back with her legs open to the world like the true lady she is 🐱 and we wouldn’t have her any other way.
Tell us about your furry friends weird habits!
