About a year ago today, I adopted this lil potato dumpling. He was scared and feral, and wanted nothing to do with me. It took two weeks before I saw him, another month before he would come out when I was around, and I couldn't touch him for another two months after that. Within the span of a year, this pudding cup has made LEAPS AND BOUNDS and I'm SO proud of him! This is him, coming over and laying on my lap of his on volition, and being so comfortable with me that he FELL ASLEEP SNORING. He has learned that humans can be good and are a source of delicious foods and comforting scritches. .
This is just to say, don't judge a cat by how it acts in the shelter. He was a scared tiny nugget at the rescue, and I took a chance on him. Throughout the year, I've doubted myself and him, whether or not we would ever get to the level we're at now. Have faith in yourself, have faith in your animals, and good things will happen. Pls wish Beans happy adoptaversary, this boi deserves it.
