Nyden, Yana, and I decided to pay tribute to all the friends dear to our hearts whom we've lost recently and all the other departed who are forever loved and remembered by their loved ones. This #poetrypurrsday is dedicated to all of you guys!

••• To the Ones Who Never Leave Us •••
It's bleakest act to let one go
Whom you have loved the most of all!
It might have been your closest friend,
It could have been the soul you spent
Your toughest hours, feeling down
Or jolly moments, no sign of frown.
That special one gave you the world
And all they needed was to curl
Next to you and feel your touch,
To know you're there, nothing much.
You sensed their gaze fixed on your back
When busy days made lose your track
Of time but they were patiently awaiting,
Never angry, never slating.
You could scent their gentle presence
by the playful effervescence
They created with so much flair!
The house was full of balls of hair,
And crumbs from potty visits lucky,
Now you find them not faintly yucky.
They never talked in human way,
But had so many things to say
And taught us love, content, compassion.
Today we know how having passion
To keep a single soul protected,
Brings ray of light in world dejected.
The joy they brought to our lives,
The sense our spirit immensely thrives,
We never buy with bags of gold,
It's false despite what you've been told.
We only felt affection, no conditions,
They let us love them, no permissions.
The bond we built was strong and candid,
We wondered often who was the stranded
who needed saving and fondness dear,
It could've been us, it might appear.
Although they left our sight forever,
Our hearts without a slim endeavor
Will keep them warm, and live, we bode,
Until we end our earthly road.
For it was them who made our soul
A place of wisdom and truly whole! 🧡🌈🧡
