20.2rX was hard. I haven’t dialed dumbbell thrusters and didn’t spend any time working them between Thursday and today, but decided that even if I had to do single clusters to get the dumbbell thrusters I would - and I did! So instead of 4 dumbbell thrusters I did 4x1 dumbbell clusters, and my toes to bar are singles so I can stay moving and my doubleunders were all unbroken except for the first round because I spent so much time attacking my weakness that now they’re conspicuously decent.
My score was over half what I did when I scaled the dumbbell weights on Thursday and that is a huge win. On its own, the score isn’t impressive so I cut the number out (according to preliminary data from @crossfitbtwb it’s sub twentieth percentile), but it was good enough to get me some pizza so I’ll take it.
Was supposed to run back 20.1 scaled to see if I could finish but my shoulders are beat up, so I just grabbed some pie instead.
Coach Lou approved, though he was a bit disappointed at the lack of anchovies. I told him he can choose the toppings when he buys the Za.
