Meet Logan. He has a special place in the heart of his foster mom. Logan came to BCAC as a very sick kitten. His story starts as a familiar one: he was sick and small, had trouble gaining weight, lots of trouble with digestion. But Logan was no ordinary kitten. One Sunday afternoon, after being syringe fed, Logan had a seizure. Kittens who have seizures usually do not have a good prognosis and often die within 24 hours. Logan's foster mom prepared for the worst. In the meantime, Logan was given his feedings, meds, and kept warm. Logan had two more seizures before his vet appointment the very next day. Things were not looking good. However, the vet decided to take it slow. Since Logan was showing interest in food, BCAC decided to do some bloodwork. It was determined that he possibly had a liver shunt. Fast forward to now, and Logan is a healthy little guy! He is still quite small but he silly, and fun, and just loves life! He is cuddly and sleeps with his person at night. He is very playful and especially loves other playful male kitties. And, he has the prettiest orange eyes you have ever seen! Please come visit our little miracle kitty.
