Most things in my home are either charity shop or skip finds, even Tulip the cat was a rescue kitten😂🙌🏻. I love @ercol_uk chairs but I’m not keen on the giant cushion backs that hide the craftsmanship of the beautiful spindles so I always remove the cushions and have a new seat pad made. Shopping second hand does require vision, look closely at things that at first you may walk past- how could you adapt them to fit in your home? How could they be more your style? Thats upcycling in its most basic form, making things more fit for the purpose you want. This time of year lots of you interiors addicts are busy getting your homes looking their best ready for family to stay BUT think secondhand before you part with big bucks. I found this chair @suerydercharity nettlebed sale but @bhf_ebay has lots too. Never forget to investigate family members attics- who knows what has been forgotton up there!
Stool I made from a tree truck, basket I sprayed the bottom gold with @makeitrustoleum spray paint its from @ikeauk as is the huge cacti..
