Esmay isn’t a foster, she’s a personal rescue. Can you see the difference? She was skin and bones when we caught her, she had worms and would stuff herself until she was sick to make up for lost time eating. When we first brought her in she ran, trying to escape our home, so we put her in our handy dandy playpen for a few weeks. We also wanted to quarantine her, just in case.
A few weeks ago she started showing signs of Panleukopenia, we were very afraid we’d lose her. We said our goodbyes perhaps too early. She is now thriving, eating, drinking, screaming! 😹 she is a goofball and we are so glad she made it. We love her, she’s got the biggest most gentle eyes, and we’re looking forward to a future with her in it.
Esmay is not fixed or microchipped. We’re assuming she’s maybe 2 or 3 years old, as her teeth look amazing and she hasn’t shown any signs of real age. We’re going to get her fixed and chipped, her shots, etc. If you could spare a few dollars toward this effort, we’d greatly appreciate it. Because she is not a foster, we’re obviously going to pay for this ourselves.
Thank you to everyone who supported us through this hard time, we truly appreciate it.
