Jack and I don’t have too much to update on tonight for him. Today was a good day. He was up and about some more sitting up, drinking water. Even a bird outside the window caught his attention! Jack has always been afraid of cat toys (even the non noisy ones) for some reason (they make him jump and freak out like the nebulizer. If I set a toy mouse or anything in front of him he would puff up like a cartoon Halloween cat and jump up in the air. And go bouncing off the walls, literally. Remember he managed to break his toe on his E collar because he freaked out so bad with the nebulizer. So I haven’t tried offering any other toys yet, he has one in his room that’s been there that he’s used to, it’s a catnip toy, but he doesn’t touch it. Maybe when he’s feeling better we will try another type of toy and see if he’s feeling up to playing. I just can’t wait to have this baby feeling 100%. He got his last dose of chloramphenicol tonight so that was exciting. One more med done! I truly feel he’s feeling a tiny bit better as his purr is back and he’s always reaching out for me and just generally has a better attitude. I’m hoping a week from now my update will be saying how great he’s doing... Please keep praying for jack
Right now we are in dire need of help with our funds for vet bills. We have had a lot of big surgeries lately and still have a lot coming up along with the regular vetting, spay neuters, shots, meds, etc along with the specialty vet visits. Even just $1 will add up if everyonewho sees our post donated.
Also, royal canin baby cat canned food is on sale right now on amazon! The big cans are on sale for LESS than the small cans. They’re actually more than half off! This is the main food we feed our foster babies and we could desperately use some and could stock up for awhile!
Thank you to all our supporters and donors, we couldn’t do this without your help!
