Today was so jam packed I felt like I was never going to stop running around from vet to pet store to foster to different vet to a different foster to a different pet store to a different vet then to meet a different foster then back to the first vet and then...you get the idea. Running in circles today.
I guess I’ll go in order lol. Genevieve had another rehab session with mason today and did really well. He’s very happy with her progress, she ran all around the back of the clinic today and everyone was so happy to see her (this is Dr. Roses clinic). We got a new exercise to do with her to help with her learning to pick up her legs when she walks instead of sliding/dragging them a bit.
We discussed spaying with mason and how it would effect her rehab, remember she also has that large unknown mass we need to deal with. We decided two more weeks and another big rehab session and then go ahead and spay her. She will have a full 2 weeks resting, as much as Genevieve wants to (and will) rest. Meaning no therapy from us and no rehab sessions with mason. Giving her time to heal internally. Then we will pick back up with things. He doesn’t thing she will decline and getting her spayed and that mass removed, and the BB pellet is something we need to get done and have put off for awhile since rehabbing her early in the injury was very important.
Please continue sending lots of good thoughts to our sweet Genevieve
Right now we are in dire need of help with our funds for vet bills. We have had a lot of big surgeries lately and still have a lot coming up along with the regular vetting, spay neuters, shots, meds, etc along with the specialty vet visits and rehab for Genevieve. Even just $1 will add up if everyonewho sees our post donated.
We have updated our wishlist with our most needed items. Right now we are most in need of royal canin mother and babycat canned food, rescue wipes, snuggle kitties, tiki cat mousse, and cat litter.
Thank you to all our supporters and donors, we couldn’t do this without your help!
